Tweet For Korah (12.18.09)

Today we are announcing the first ever awareness campaign for Korah, it's called "Tweet For Korah" and will be held on Monday, January 18th starting at 9pm and running through the rest of that day. It's quite simple, as the flyer suggests and the goal is twofold: 1) To raise awareness through Twitter (and other social media that you might have linked to your Twitter account, e.g. Facebook) by "tweeting" about Korah, and 2) To raise financial aid through "microgiving".

"Microgiving" just means exactly what it sounds like, people giving small donations (e.g. $1, $5, $10, $15, etc.). To do this, all you basically need is a Twitter account. On 12.18.10, you just login to twitter and if you want to donate, you type the following in your status bar: #Korah twitpay @HelpKorah $__. (Of course, the __ after the $ symbol is the amount you wish to donate, not just a __.) It's that easy folks! Just think, you're getting in on the ground level of a project that is aiming for the transformation of a community of 80,000 outcasts!!! So, while you're waiting for 12.18.10, why not download this pic and share it on your website, blog, facebook, church bulletin, newspaper, etc.? All you have to do is click on the picture and a larger image will pop up. Right-Click and save that image and feel free to share it as much as you can.
